Chaquacabana Resort & Beach Club

My family took one of their best rooms. Wen we got there we found so many safery issues we left 5 mins after. . There were exposed wires in the room outlets hanging out the wall, and a hole in the ceiling above We also discovered the key card worked for another room as we mistakenly opened the wrong room cause no one came to assist us in showing us where our room was. They keep promising to refund us our money and 5 months now and we have not gotten a refund . I was really looking forward to having a relaxing time with family but it never happened .

Having our wedding at chaquacabana was no brainer just based on the pure beauty an tranquil atmosphere of the venue, but then chaquacabana proceeded to exceed all our expectations by just doing everything they could to make the occasion exactly how we dreamed plus extra. The food must be mentioned first as it was extremely delicious an serving sizes were huge and satisfactory. The occasion was worry free thanks to our host natasha who coordinated everything seamlessly,serving staff we kind and helpful with a gentle smile. Chaquacabana will always be my go to venue for any future events.

Pool dirty. Shower beside pool mossy Boards on pier sticking up (easy to fall). No A/C in conference room. Chair back made a run on my clothes Place looks run down. Damaged pool chairs Statue at entrance broken. Shelly had excellent customer service. She gave me a portable fan on day one and made sure it was charged so that I could have it on day 2

My girlfriend and I stayed at Chaquacabana for 2 nights..worst 2 nights. Here's a list of all the issues encountered; • Upon checking in, an hour after the hotel's check in time, we still had to wait 20 minutes before actually being able to enter the room as it still wasn't ready. • When we got into the room, the living room area was nice, really neat. A few steps in, we realized the floor tiles were broken but neatly hidden under a rug. • Bedroom door handle was broken. • Closet door was completely broken off of the track. So unable to properly open or close. Just leaned up to the side of the wall. • Bathroom tiles were dirty. Bathroom sink was totally worn out and in need of a paint job. • A couple lights weren't working. • Both nights we heard a leaking/dripping sound but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. On the morning of checkout, while packing up, I noticed a bag of my (dry) clothes that was in the closet, was now completely soaked. It turned out to be the water heater leaking behind the closet and someone was aware of the leak because a towel was placed beneath the water heater to hold the water that's leaking. This was the breaking point for us. To totally ruin our clothes was just unacceptable. The towel being their "fix" to a heavy leak was blatantly disgusting. • We went to the front desk immediately and asked to speak to a manager and there wasn't one available. We needed a manager to void a charge at the restaurant too and again, none available. We made our complaints to the lady at the front desk but I don't believe that a stay at Chaquacabana would ever be worth the money. 0/10 would never recommend.

Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful weekend. Chaquacabana resort & beach club is the ultimate destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. I cannot wait for my next visit!!! I would highly recommend this beach resort.

This hotel has the best views. This compensated for the inconveniences such as the bright flood light in front of the bedroom which shines directly inside and negative effects of light is migraines. i was told that there was nothing that can be done about the lights. However , that aside the breakfast was good, the drinks was good and they were very generous with the alcohol cocktails. The shrimp cocktail was also delicious , the kitchen staff and the bar staff was very friendly, courteous and the ambience at night and daytime was worth it. The windows didnt close in the bathroom but because the rooms are high off the ground there were no insects and no mosquitos. I would recommend blankets or duvets for the rooms which would make it more comfortable. The room was very clean and welcoming however , there was no soap or extra towels in the bathroom and im sure that can be corrected. I will visit again and for a longer period to thoroughly enjoys this facility.
